Though she may seem intimidating, Jillian is a real hardworking leader with a soft spot for literally... everything and everyone, especially pasta and belting for no reason. Kind-hearted, a bundle of energy, and the life of the party, you'll often find her helping with choreography and aiding in creating insane performances.

Behind her serious commitment to dance and making our choroegraphy, Melia is an outgoing girl with a soft spot for marmite, bread, chocolate, and cheese (as she should be). Though she can seem serious, she is something everyone can easily come to if they have a problem and she always makes time for her loved ones.

Full of energy and with a powerful voice, she makes one hell of a performer. Trained in music from a young age, she also composes our instrumental versions of musical songs, and will happily help anyone who needs musical help! She's really kind with a wholesome heart and will cry if she sees a cute dog on the street.

Often seen with an iced chai latte in hand, Vic is always there to help you see the positive, and often highly aesthetically pleasing side of life! Despite her various knee injuries, you'll never see her on the sidelines! She constantly makes an effort to put herself out there in every aspect of her life (unless it involves nuts, yikes)!

FAQs

When are rehearsals and how often are they scheduled?

Weekday rehearsals are from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursdays. Rehearsal times are subject to change and expand, but members will be made aware in advance.

Where are rehearsals?

Weekday rehearsals take place in room C1.18 on University of Westminster's Cavendish Campus. Depending on our needs, our rehearsal space may change, but members will be made aware in advance.

How do I become a member of the UWSU musical theatre society?

If you attend, or attended, the University of Westminster, go on UWSU.com, create an account, add "Musical Theatre Society" to your basket and pay out with PayPal.

If you do not attend the University of Westminster or are a member of our alumni, please contact us via email and we will assist you with the process.

What does it cost to participate in a UWSU musical theatre production?

The only cost for participating in our productions is our membership fee.

If you plan on staying with us the entire year for all of our productions, the fee is £30.

If you only wish to participate in our main stage production or are an exchange student only around for the first semester, the fee is £15.

Where are our performances?

Our performances vary in location- nevertheless, you can see all of our performance locations here.

What if I have a conflict with the rehearsal/performance schedule?

It's simple- try to make us aware of any scheduling conflicts in advance, but don't fret too much! We don't take attendance into account until our main stage production.

During our main stage production we ask that you only miss two rehearsals with an excuse and none without one.

Who should I contact if I have a question?

You can contact any member of our committee via our social media outlets or by emailing:

musicaltheatre.soc@su.westminster.ac.uk
